Snapchat Memories, a new feature to relive memories!
With Memories, Snapchat wants to allow its users to move away from the ephemeral for a few minutes to relive moments shared on Snapchat in the past, without having to leave the application.
The new Snapchat Memories feature will therefore soon allow any user to save their snaps, whether they are photos or short videos, in a virtual album hosted directly on the mobile application.
The saving of snaps in Memories will be done directly when taking photos or videos before the user shares these moments with his friends.
This new section will be easily accessible by users, they will only have to swipe up to open their Snapchat Memories. All the recorded content will be displayed in the form of a gallery sorted in chronological order.
The user can then, if they wish, search for specific snaps by simply inserting a keyword in the search engine located at the top of the feature.
At any time, the Snapchat user can make visible to him only certain content that he does not want to show to just anyone.
Finally, Memories stored on the application can be shared at any time on Snapchat. Snaps from Memories will be framed so that they are differentiated by users of regular Snaps. This last feature is similar to Facebook memories that the social network goes back from time to time and that it is also possible for the user to share with his friends.
