What is the full form of SC, ST, and OBC?
OBC full form: Other Backward Class
OBC full form: Farmers who were socially, educationally, and economically disadvantaged were classified as OBC. In terms of social hierarchy, they were somewhere between the upper castes and the scheduled castes. However, there was still discrimination. They were poor, ignorant, and largely involved in agriculture and herding in the past. In comparison to upper castes or the general group, OBCs are socially and educationally behind. Untouchables are considered untouchables by OBCs (SC). Conflicts between OBCs and SCs are common.
Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) are the complete forms of SC, ST, and OBC. Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) are the full forms of SC, ST, and OBC in Hindi. These categories were primarily intended to assist some castes, tribes, and low-income people. Minorities, like Muslims, are sometimes included in the OBC(M) group. Reservation provides them with significant advantages in government positions, higher education, and the legislature. Article 16(4) of the Constitution contains a reservation for these Scheduled and Backward Classes.
I believe casteism should be abolished in India, and I am against it. If you notice any errors in this post, please let us know in the comments area.
SC: Scheduled Castes
SC is India’s untouchable castes. They reside outside of the communities and are obliged to perform ‘dirty’ tasks such as cleaning feces, washing dead animals, and doing leatherwork, among other things. They were not allowed to touch the upper caste’s food, money, or clothing because they were doing unclean labor. Among the Shudra castes, they were the most discriminatory.
ST: Scheduled Tribes
ST refers to Indian tribals who reside in the forests, as well as nomadic tribals. They are considered misfits since they do not belong to any organized religion. They have their fashion sense, customs, cuisine, and culture.
