Motorola posted a teaser on Monday (23), hoping to pique the interest of photography enthusiasts. The billboard, which was posted on the Chinese social network, depicts a mobile phone camera’s lens and discloses the sensor’s resolution: 200 megapixels. According to all indicators, the mystery phone will be the brand’s next flagship, with a July 2022 release date.
Although no information has been verified by the corporation, reports suggest that the sensor utilised would be the Samsung Isocell HP1, which was unveiled in September of last year.
It uses a method that combines 16 pixels into a 2.56 m, resulting in photographs with a resolution of 12.5 MP. In actuality, we should anticipate crisper images owing to the increased light capture.
In any event, keep in mind that the number of megapixels does not always equate to picture quality. The Moto G200 5G, for example, has a 108 MP camera, but it suffers a bit in the dark with Night Vision enabled, since the presence of noise is more in many conditions than in rivals’ night modes.
The initial rumours regarding the new smartphone, codenamed Frontier, started to spread in the specialist media in January, and it is expected to be part of the Edge series. Aside from the primary camera, the gadget must include two additional lenses on the rear, constituting a triple set.
According to the speculations, the datasheet will also have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 engine, 8GB or 12GB RAM, and a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
Motorola Razr 3 is also on the way
The new Motorola Razr generation was likewise the centre of this second’s provocations. Motorola nearly confirms in another image that its upcoming foldable phone would be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
The Qualcomm chip, as shown in the picture below, is displayed atop a device with just the visible edges visible, while the remainder of the body is obscured by shadows.
It is impossible to tell from the shot if the design has changed, but this is one of the predicted updates for the third version of the Razr. The smartphone should resemble the Galaxy Z Flip 3 — the only foldable smartphone that seems to have conquered the prototype barrier in the eyes of customers so far.
