What is the full form of IP?
i) IP full form: Internet Protocol
IP full form: IP stands for “Internet Protocol” in its entire form. In Hindi, the complete form of IP is ” Internet Manual “. IP is a protocol, or set of rules, for routing and addressing data packets so that they can travel across a network and arrive at their intended destination. The data that travels through the Internet is broken down into little units known as packets. Each packet has IP information attached with it, which aids the router is sending the packet to the correct destination. Each device or domain that connects to the Internet is issued at least one IP address, and data is delivered where it is needed by packets being directed to the IP address associated with them.
The major protocol of the Internet is Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4), which is the first major version of IP. Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) is its successor, and its use on the public Internet has been growing since 2006. Internet Protocol version 4 is the most widely used IP version today (IPv4). However, IPv6 (Internet Protocol Version 6) is becoming more widely used. IPv6 allows for a significantly larger number of addresses and, as a result, a much larger number of Internet users. IPv6 inherits IPv4’s capabilities, therefore any server that can handle IPv6 packets can also handle IPv4 packets.
