How many times do we have to teach you this lesson old man
The longer he lived, the more bile he produced and the more lethal his words became. People stayed away from him, as his misfortune grew contagious. Being pleased next to him was even more weird and offensive.
He instilled in others a sense of unhappiness.
However, on the day he turned eighty, an unbelievable incident occurred.
Instantaneously, the rumor spread:
“An Old Man is happy today, he doesn’t complain about anything, smiles, and even his face is freshened up.”
The entire village gathered.
The elderly gentleman was questioned: What happened to you, villager?
“Nothing special. Eighty years I’ve been chasing happiness, and it was useless. And then I decided to live without happiness and just enjoy life. That’s why I’m happy now.” – An Old Man
Moral of the story:
Don’t chase happiness. Enjoy your life.
