CBSE full form: “Central Board of Secondary Education” is the full name of CBSE. In Hindi, CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is India’s national education board, which oversees both public and private schools.
Every year in the month of March, the CBSE conducts final exams for classes 10 and 12. By the end of May, the results will be available. The AIEEE exam was previously held by the board for admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture programs in colleges across India. In 2013, the AIEEE and the IIT-Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) were unified. The National Testing Agency currently administers the common exam, which is now known as JEE(Main).
The CBSE also administers the AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test) for admission to India’s top medical schools. The National Eligibility Test for the award of Junior Research Fellowships and eligibility for Assistant Professor in higher education institutions was outsourced to CBSE in 2014. Aside from these exams, the CBSE also administers the Central Teacher Eligibility Test and the Optional Proficiency Test for Class X. CBSE has become the world’s largest exam conducting organization since the addition of NET in 2014.
