Canary Islands Do you wish to spend some time in the sun? So, when is the ideal time to visit the Canaries? The Canaries, sometimes known as the “Eternal Spring Islands,” provide year-round sunlight. Even while all of the islands are nice from January to December, different times of year are better than others depending on the weather, your budget, or just the activities available in the region.

When to visit the Canary Islands?

On the weather side

You’re in luck since visiting the Canary Islands is possible all year. And for good cause, the sun shines in the Canary from January to December. Temperatures will so range from 16 and 26 degrees, regardless of the season.

However, if you want to be sure there will be no rain, choose June. The weather is most consistent throughout this time of year.

If, on the other hand, you choose to escape the French greyness in search of some sunshine, you may visit in November, December, January, or February. The weather is also extremely lovely.

Budget side

The months of July and August are often the busiest in the country, as they are worldwide. As a result, it is not the greatest time to visit the Canary Islands.

Prices tend to grow organically over this time period. Avoid the peak season if you want to keep your vacation spending to a minimum.

But don’t worry, the Canary Islands are often affordable. Throughout the year, you will be able to enjoy activities and magnificent hotels without breaking the bank.

Visiting the Canary Islands in winter

The Canary Islands are exceptionally pleasant even in winter, with 2,800 hours of sunlight every year. It’s also a great place to go if you want to escape the chilly weather that afflict France in January and February.

However, be cautious since rains are more often at this time of year, so don’t forget to take the required precautions to protect yourself during heavy showers.

Furthermore, as you climb altitude, snow and frost may appear. Especially on Teide, Tenerife’s well-known volcano.

Visiting the Canary Islands in mid-season

When is the best time to visit the Canary Islands? The months of May, June, and September are among the best for vacationing in the Canary Islands.

The temperature hovers about 25 degrees Fahrenheit on average, with little variation. Above important, visitors are not yet too prevalent, allowing you to carry out your activities in solitude.

Visit the Canary Islands in summer

July and August also have high temperatures that do not surpass 30 degrees. It’s the ideal weather for swimming, sightseeing in Spanish villages, and even trekking. Whatever activity you select, you will not be overheated and smothered by the heat wave.

These peak seasons, however, draw a large number of travellers. So, if you want to avoid them, the Canary Islands may not be the greatest time to come.
