What is IoE?

What is IoE?

Answer:

The Internet of Everything (IoE) is a conceptual leap beyond IoT, which focuses on things, into a broader domain of connection that includes people, processes, and data in addition to objects. According to Cisco, the “advantage of IoE is derived from the cumulative effect of linking people, process, data, and things, and the value this enhanced connectivity produces as ‘everything’ comes online.” In contrast, IoT solely refers to the networked connection of physical items, but IoE extends this network to encompass people-to-people and people-to-machine interactions. Cisco and other proponents think that by “connecting the disconnected,” those who use IoE will be able to extract additional value.
